Coming to Hungary?
Strange place, I must say, with a strange language and even stranger people. A place where I'd typically recommend a friend or a guide to take you around.
Why, you might ask, and my answer would be a true story: Last week I met a Saudi couple. They came to BP and before they met me this is how their day looked like: arrival by car from Vienna (50$), booking a hotel for 3 nights (1000$), upgrading the room (100$), having lunch and dinner (200$). We met that night and decided to spend the next day together: Heroes Square Tour (0$), Kunsthalle (18$), Széchenyi Spa (40$), Aquincum Roman Ruins (15$), a great local lunch with wine (50$).
Now, You do the Math!
If you want to avoid tourist traps AND have as many authentic experiences in Hungary as possible, it would be my pleasure to let you do just that!
Will you go on your own or will you accept my help?
It's up to you! :)
Send me a message about your questions, I'll answer all of them!
We had such a great time with Marcell. He provided all we had requested and so much more. His passion and knowledge of Hungarian history helped us appreciate the city so much more than had we been with a group or just a “tour guide”. Couldn’t imagine our trip without his incredible insight.5 days ago
Marcell is an excellent tour guide. Our group of four seniors highly recommends him. His is knowledgeable, kind, patient, helpful and very informative. He is respectful of the pace you want to keep and the sites you want to see - flexible/adaptable and creative. He will not disappoint! Andrew, Carol Sandy and Lynda.5 months ago
