I'm from Boston, have been living in Paris since 1996 and have been working professionally as a photographer since 2005 and since then I also teach photography very often. I am a big fan of Paris history, so wherever we are I'll be able to tell you about the history of which ever monument we are looking at. Beyond that I can show you all kinds of simple and easy techniques for taking wonderful pictures of Paris that you will be able to put in to practice wherever else you travel in the world.
Today we visited Notre Dame, Saint Chapelle, as well as viewing other churches and historical sights. David was again informative, giving history of the places we saw as well as other historical information. His passion for Paris and French history is infectious. I need to point out that I am an older solo traveler and I truly appreciate David's patience and attentiveness. He was content to sit and rest with me as needed, and was always on alert for my whereabouts if we got too far apart. David is also willing to share his photographic expertise with advice on angles and lighting when taking your photos. I can't praise him enough - he has been the perfect guide !!2 years ago
A delightful day walking all over the Latin Quarter ! David was extremely personable, professional, and courteous. He showed me various sites of interest and gave background information on everything we saw. When I spotted a shop I wanted to visit, he was extremely patient and even acted as an interpreter for me ! David is willing to work with you to customize your tour and I would highly recommend him for any tour you wanted to take !2 years ago
David was again a delightful guide for our day in Versailles. He assisted in a seamless navigation of the train system, which I never would have been able to do on my own. Throughout the day he gave several explanations of cultural and historical context for not only Versailles, but for the history of France. David was a most pleasurable companion for the day and I am looking forward to our next adventure on Friday !"2 years ago
